Privacy
This says what Superbrain keeps about you, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It is short because we keep little.
What we keep
- The conversation. Everything written in the chat, both sides, and the cards in it. It is stored so you can come back to it.
- What we read about your business. The website you gave us, what its pages say, and what a web search returned about it. Public pages, read at the moment you asked.
- Your account. A name and an email address once you register. Before that, a browser gets an account with no name and no address attached to it.
- Your acceptance of the terms and of this notice, as the moment you sent your first message and which version of the two pages was in force then.
- A request for a demo. The name and the email address you typed into that form, so that we can answer you. It belongs to no account: filling the form in does not open one.
We do not ask for anything else, and there is nothing here about you that you did not type or point us at. We do not track you across other sites, we run no advertising and no analytics, and the only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who else sees it
- The model. The conversation is sent through Vercel's AI Gateway to whichever model this chat is set to answer with - today one of Anthropic's or OpenAI's, and a chat says which on request. Whichever it is, we require the gateway to use only providers that have agreed with it to keep nothing: the provider answers, and afterwards holds neither what we sent nor what it wrote. A model we cannot ask that of is not one this chat can be set to. Nobody trains a model on your conversation.
- Web search. When the chat looks something up, the search runs at the gateway on our behalf, and the search provider sees the phrase that was searched for. That is a line the chat wrote about the question in front of it, not your conversation.
- Our hosting. The site runs on Vercel and the conversations are stored in a Postgres database on Neon, both in the United States. If you are writing to us from elsewhere, that is where your conversation goes.
- Email. Sign-in codes, the note telling us you agreed to an estimate, and the note telling us you asked for a demo go through Resend.
- Us. People here read conversations to answer them and to see where the consultation goes wrong. Nobody else is sold or given your data - we do not sell it, and we have nothing to sell it for.
How long
Conversations are kept while your account exists. A guest account is deleted once its conversations have moved to the account you register with. A request for a demo is kept until you ask us to remove it. Ask us and we will delete yours.
Asking us anything about this
Write to hello@superbrain.tech and say what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We do the same thing either way - find your account and act on it - and we answer within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not charge you or ask you to stay.
This is not for children
The consultation is for people running a business. We do not knowingly keep anything about a child, and if you tell us we have, we will delete it.
If this notice changes
Every version carries the date it was written, at the top of this page, and we keep a record of which version you accepted. We will tell you before a change that matters takes effect - by email if you have registered, and in the chat either way - at least 30 days beforehand unless the law requires it sooner.
And a change here is not retroactive. If we ever want to do something new with what you have already told us, we will ask you then, rather than pointing at a page you agreed to before we thought of it.
This notice is written to be read rather than to satisfy a regulator, and it has not been through a lawyer. If something here does not match what you think is happening to your data, write and ask - the answer is in code we can go and look at.
